3.5 System Des Doc/Tech Data: The CRL Team assists in all technical aspects of defining, understanding, and assessing Critical Program Information and Critical Technologies across all naval systems with a potential for AT protection. Remain abreast of current AT techniques and processes used across DoD, and have a solid grasp of the risk reward and cost penalties associated with the implementation of the varying techniques. As required, assist the AT TA in the determination of impacts of cost and technical risk associated with changes in CPI’s, CT’s and/or policies related to AT implementation.

3.5 System Des Doc/Tech Data: The CRL Team created and maintains integrated architecture for unique unmanned air system. Includes Operational Node analysis, Organizational structure analysis, Operational Activity analysis, Logical Data model, Operational Rules model, Link 16 Platform Deviation Analysis. Identifies and analyzes Key Interface Profiles in developing NR-KPPs.

3.6 Software: The CRL Team provides human factors support for the Mission Control System by providing input for displays. Analyze Unmanned Air System program requirements and preparing comments on program plans including Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs), Software Program Management Plans (SPMPs), Software Development Plans (SDPs), System/Subsystem Specifications (SSSs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs), Software Test Plans (STPs) and Software Test Descriptions (STDs).

3.7 RM&A: The CRL Team participates in the development of multiple BIT maturity plans for new development products for F/A-18 aircraft. Collects historical data. Develops RM&A systems requirements. Analyzes data through the development of products. Isolates problems through trend analysis.

3.9 System Safety: The CRL Team supports all aspects of preparing the safety for flight systems as all three variants (both domestic and foreign production) of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter to include safety analysis of software, hardware, and firmware.

3.10 CM Support: The CRL Team analyze, track and control configuration changes of integrated architecture products during the development of capabilities for the Battle Space Engineering program. Ensures control of changes in the development of systems architectures to achieve functional performance and linked system requirements for multiple aircraft platforms.

3.11 QA Support: The CRL Team performs Quality Control Inspections at the Central Kitting Activity to identify and correct material markings, packaging, and configuration discrepancies. Responsible for the correction of minor and major material discrepancies including documentation tracking, Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR), and Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR/ROD).

3.12 IS/IA/IT: The CRL Team provides network certification and accreditation support. Provide Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) planning, execution, and reporting. Developed and maintain the System Security Plan (SSP) documentation for the networks. Implement and enforce the Information System’s security policies. Develop the network’s user account control plan, Trusted Facility’s Manual (Administrator’s Guide), and systems user’s guide. In addition, CRL Technologies support daily maintenance/troubleshooting for domain servers. Install operating system/application updates and patches pertaining to computer security. Manage domain server network/disk resources, security, user access and disaster recovery backup and restore operations (Retrospect / Veritas Backup Exec) on multiple servers. Maintain security/access on servers within in the DMZ. Plan and implement networking for small workgroup of computers. Troubleshoot problems through phone/online support. Document and test procedures for installation of software, configurations and recovery processes.

3.14 Interoperability/T&E/Trials: The CRL Team coordinates and facilitates Mode 5 testing and certification. In addition, CRL reviews and validates flight test plans ensuring all requirements are met to implement the system within the established timeline.

3.16 Logistics Support: The CRL Team provides comprehensive logistics support to Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI), Core Avionics, EO/IR and RADAR Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Performs Configuration Control, participates in document generation/review, design reviews and board actions; prepares Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and coordinates with the PMA-265 CM Team for ECP action.

3.17 Supply & Provisioning: The CRL Team provides logistical support to PMA-265 for the retrofit of the F/A-18. Tracks and issues Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) and Digital Communication Systems (DCS) kits along with associated kits required during incorporation. Other kits managed include Miniature Airborne Global Receiver (MAGR), Embedded Global Positioning System (GPS)/Internal Navigation System (INS) (EGI) and Combined Interrogator/Transponder (CIT) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF).

3.19 In-Service Eng: The CRL Team provides support to PMA265 for fleet interface of legacy and new development cryptologic systems for F/A-18 fleet utilization.
